SUPPORT CARRIE’S BEANIES 4 BRAIN CANCER

Raising funds for vital brain cancer research in the Point to Pinnacle Half Marathon 2019

In 2015 Carrie Bickmore founded the Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer Foundation in honour of her late husband Greg, who died from Brain Cancer.

You can take part in the Point to Pinnacle and support CB4BC. Run, walk or just jump on and donate to help get our teams up the hill! Together we can make a difference and stop other families from losing someone they love to brain cancer.

Brain Cancer kills more people under the age of 40 than any other cancer and more children in Australia than ANY other disease. Approximately 1,600 Australians are diagnosed with brain cancer each year and of them 80% will die. Survival rates haven't changed in 30 years. Currently there is no cure.

The CB4BC Foundation is proud to have raised $12 million for brain cancer research to date. But we need to do more. We need to increase survival rates and the only way to do this is through vital research.
